Congratulations to all 2010 Business Plan Competition Winners! Michael Bayne of “Rota Mobility Inc.” took home the $10,000 check with Will Steinberger Bret Yerkovich in close second taking home $5,000 for “iJockey”. Helen Heydeman, Frederic Rouhana, Arash Rahimi, and Rita Sader of “Hops Beer Bar” took 3rd place along with a check for $2,500. Startup Tour
The Entrepreneurial Society is proud to announce the first Start-Up Tour this October 22nd, 2010. We will be taking 12 select students to visit over a half-dozen start-up companies, venture capital firms and incubators in Silicon Valley for an all-day event. We will hear from seasoned entrepreneurs and investors on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur as well as their personal endeavors in entrepreneurship. The goal of the Start-Up Tour is to ignite the entrepreneurial flame in our members and inspire them to ultimately create companies of their own. The hosts of the Start-Up Tour include:

The cost of the Tour is $20 which includes lunch and a complementary Start-Up Tour t-shirt. If you’d like to attend the Start-Up Tour, you must be an ES member and send us a 1-page (double-spaced) paper on why you should go on the Tour.
